Integrated Coastal Action Plan (ICAP)

This project is being developed by a steering group established in 2008, made up of a mixture of coastal practitioners from Kent.  The project is being coordinated by Kent Coastal Network.

The aim is to gain consensus for a well informed Action Plan, which will be the catalyst for a greater degree of integrated working on the Kent coast.

For this to be achieved, the development phase will be vital in gaining a wide degree of input, consultation and debate from as many organisations as possible.

This will ensure that the Action Plan is well informed and that it has the broad base of recognition and support that will be necessary for it to work as a living document.

For further information on ICAP, contact Coastal Officer Chris Drake on 01622 221266 or chris.drake@kent.gov.uk
